How the site is built

• Semantic HTML: real headings in order, real lists, real tables with header cells
• Every product image carries alternative text naming the product and its size
• Text contrast is checked against WCAG 2.1 AA for body copy and interface labels
• Layouts reflow to a single column and stay readable at 200 percent zoom
• Nothing moves, flashes or plays on its own

Keyboard use

Every link and button is reachable with Tab and activated with Enter or Space, in the order the page reads. The menu button on small screens is a real button with an expanded state, not a styled div.

Screen readers

Pages are checked with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS. Product cards read as a heading, a size, a rating and a price, which is the order the information is useful in.

Known gaps

Product photography comes from the manufacturer and sometimes carries text inside the image that a screen reader cannot see. Where that text matters, we repeat it in the page copy. Long specification tables can be tedious to traverse; we keep them short for that reason.

Reporting a problem

Write to [email protected] with the page address and what went wrong. We aim to reply within two business days and to fix confirmed issues in the next build.
